Hi Anyse,
Only activities from the Contact will show on the Account--not notes. I have a few ideas for workarounds--others may have additional ideas.
1. Write a workflow that creates an activity (and copies the note) every time someone creates a Note on the Contact. This might backfire if people frequently update notes after they have added them.
2. Create a custom iFrame on the Account that shows notes from the Contacts.
3. Use this tool called PowerOneView which allows you to see notes and other related activities and entities all rolled up into one view.www.powerobjects.com/.../poweroneview
4. Create a report wizard report of all Contacts and their notes, and make that available on the Account so that users can run it.
