I think your aims are a bit optimistic, especially with CRM Online. The closest you could get without a lot of development work would be: Use the Data Export Service to push changes in CRM Online to a SQL Server in an Azure VM Setup a VPN connection between your PC and the Azure VM Use either SQL Replication or SQL Mirroring to get the data from the SQL Server in the Azure VM to a local SQL Server This is possible, but I'm not sure how much you gain from it, and it will only work with a permanent, decent network connection. What is the reason for wanting a copy of the data when, if you've got a decent network connection, you can just get the data directly from CRM Online ? If you actually only want contacts and activities synched, then you could use the CRM Outlook Client with offline access
