I dont think you can disable tracking completely for selected user but i dont see why you cannot control the tracking settings for selected users. Tracking setting is a user level setting, but you could use the XrmToolBox User Settings Utility to disable for selected users You can download XrmToolBox if you do not already have, from the following link https://xrmtoolbox.com And please install the following plugin from plugin store And once connected to CRM, Load and select the users and apply the email tracking setting

Hello Friends, I am facing one issue when creating word template for quote. Able to get all the products but I need to add all the total amount of all quote line in total field. Hi Code option suggested by Andrew gives you more flexibility and control but if you cant go for that option, you can certainly achieve the same using SLAs. You can create an SLA with 5 working days and when you create the record, CRM will create SLA KPI instance for that record. You can have a workflow to copy the End Date from the KPI instances to a date-time field on the main entity - This will have you the actual date after 5 working days from Received On or Acknowledgment Due On. community.dynamics.com/.../adding-sla-39-s-to-other-entities If you want you can actually use the KPI instances to have a count down timer on the form as well Hope this helps

Blog Post: Quick tip for multiple sub grids appearing on the Marketing List form in Dynamics 365 v9.1
Recently one of our customers upgraded to Dynamics 365 V9.1 version and encountered a problem with Marketing List entity. When the customer tried to view the existing Marketing List record, multiple sub grids were displayed on the Marketing List form. Follow the given steps to replicate the multiple sub grid issue: Create the Marketing List record Or Open the existing Marketing List record Set one of Targeted At field (Contact/Account/Lead), let’s say Contact Refresh the page Observe the sub grids on the form Customer encountered multiple sub grids on form as highlighted below: With further investigation, it came to our notice that 6 sub grids appeared on Marketing List form. Out of these, two of each belonged to Contacts, Accounts and Leads respectively. Among these 6 sub grids 3 were having ‘See the records associated with this view’ button which will let you view the associated records in that sub grid. Given below the respective screenshot: Ideally through OOB, upon creation of Marketing list only one sub grid should appear on the Marketing List form. This sub grid will display records of the selected ‘Targeted At’ field. For e.g. In case ‘Targeted At=Contact’, then only Contact sub grid and its associated records will be displayed in the Marketing List. Root cause After further investigation, we found that under organizations system setting in general tab ‘Use legacy form rendering’ option was set to ‘Yes’ due to which multiple sub grids were appearing on Marketing List form. Note: ‘Use legacy form rendering’ is by default set as ‘NO’ through OOB. Solution To fix the multiple sub grids issue, we simply changed ‘Use legacy form rendering’ to ‘No’ and the issue was resolved. As shown in the below screenshot, only Contact subgrid is displayed when ‘Target At’ field on Marketing List was populated as Contact. Conclusion For compatibility, if you are going to enable the legacy form rendering engine then keep in mind that the CRM entity performance may be adversely affected. The Marketing List form will encounter similar problems as discussed in this blog.

Hello CRM Forum, Trying to reactivate an Account in the CRM version of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Verwsion 1612 on premises. I read https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customer-engagement/basics/deactivate-activate-account-contact which says one needs to 'view a deactivated account or contact, in the System Views list,' This assumes one knows where the Systems View List is, which I don't. But the Settings on the app provides Options, Print Preview, Apps for Dynamics, See Welcome Screen, About, Privacy Statement The Options choice allows General, Activities, Formats, Email, Templates, Email, Languages No Customization. I think you're looking at the personal settings (cog icon in the top right). The instructions refer to the Settings navigation area (large icons as the first level of navigation). It's possible that you don't have permissions to get to the Settings navigation area, or it could have been renamed Alternatively, you can go to Advanced Find, select the Account entity and specify the search criteria to find the record you want. This will include inactive records

One possibility is if the owner has changed, which can happen through either Reassign Records, or by changing the owner of the parent record (the account), depending on the cascading rules.
